Episode 10, Season 1: Team Work

It was a beautiful afternoon in the Pacific Ocean as the luxury liner cruised on. Aboard the ship, leaders from around the globe had assembled to discuss worldwide issues. This most prestigious assembly was escorted by navy destroyers, submarines, and the U.S. air force. What a wonderful sight! proclaimed one of the leaders. Yes, it sure turned out to be a good day for sailing! another agreed. Suddenly, sensors aboard one of the navy ships picked up signs of activity in the area. Somethings happening down there one of them said. Before there was time to react, an underwater twister formed below the cruise ship, stopping it dead in its tracks. Water began moving around the ship, getting faster and faster with each pass. In no time at all, the navy ships and subs found themselves cut off from aiding the vessel, which was now trapped in a full-fledged whirlpool. Whats going on! a leader cried. Its taking the whole ship down! another said. Surely enough, the entire ship was literally sucked down below the surface. The world leaders stared in awe at the sight of the water when the ship hit the ocean bottom. They were at rest on the ground, while the ocean above them swirled around in a wall, held back by its own forces. As they looked on, a large dome ceiling began to close overtop of them. With a loud metal thud, they were trapped

Wa-whats going on!? one of the leaders cried. A female voice answered, Youre being kidnappedduh! Shego jumped down onto the deck of the ship, followed by an army of henchmen on ropes. She walked forward, folded her arms, and smiled at the leaders. Youllyoull never get away with this! one of them shouted. OhI think I will! she replied confidently. Think this is the first time weve heard of you Miss Go!? Kim Possible will come here and defeat you AND that crazy blue scientist! a leader said mockingly. Shego grabbed the man by his collar and said, OhIm COUNTING ON IT! She smiled wickedly before tossing the man to the floor. With a snap of her fingers, the henchmen lit up their taser rods and rounded them all up.

Meanwhile up in space, Drakken had just finished setting up the final components of his death ray. The super weapon was attached to an orbiting space station he had built to work as a back-up lair. A screen behind him lit up and he turned around to see Shego. Got the bait she said evilly. Drakken smiled maliciously at the sound of this. Good work Shego! Phase One is completenow all we have to do is wait for that blasted Kim Possible to show up! he said. Shego was filing her nails and replied, Shouldnt be too longIll let ya know when Ive got her Drakken nodded and said, Good, well be in touch! With that, the screen went blank again and Drakken sucked in a big breath of air. This could actually work! he thought.

Back in the Pacific, the world leaders had been led away from the boat and were being held hostage in cells lining the walls of a long hallway. Shego stood in the middle of the hallway, still filing her nails. What do you want with us!? a leader yelled. Whadda you think? Shego replied. I think shes gonna hold us for ransom! one of them said. With delight, Shego shot back, I thinkyoure wrong! Out of nowhere, a voice rang out, I think youre DONE Shego! Kim Possible leapt down from the ceiling and landed about a hundred feet away from her. Her boyfriend, Ron Stoppable, fell soon after, catching his pants and losing them on the way down. As Kim brushed Ron off and stood him up, Shego hit a button on the wall next to her. A yellow plasma cage appeared, trapping the two teens. Kim looked around in surprise as Shego let out an evil laugh. Ah Kimmie! When are you going to learn? Youre just not in the same class! she said. What are you up to Shegoand wheres Drakken!? Kim said in anger. Oh dont worryhes just about to take control of the world! Shego replied happily. Kim looked furious, she ran forward and tried to kick the plasma wall, only to have it painfully shock her and throw her back. I wouldnt do that if I were yoooouuu Shego said with a grin. Kim looked at the ground helplessly for a second, then her face lit up with an evil smile of her own.

Shegos face fell into a frown. What are YOU so happy about!? she said. NothingI justthink its cute how you and Drakken work together Kim replied. Umm hello! Its called SIDE-KICK for a reason! Shego replied in an annoyed tone. Oh I know what a sidekick isits justwell Kim began. Well WHAT!? Shego said getting angry. Wellthe way you two run aroundalways bickeringalways togetherits a little morelike a couple! Kim said smiling wickedly. Shego clenched her teeth and growled furiously, her hands lighting up in a blaze of green. Just then, a TV monitor dropped down behind her and lit up. Drakkens face appeared and he said, Ah Shego! I see our guests have arrived! Be a dear and he began. GAAAAAHHH! Ill show YOU dear! Shego said turning around and firing her plasma at the screen. She shot hysterically, blasting the controls on the wall and short-circuiting the cages. After a few moments of throwing a fit, Shego stopped and was breathing heavily. She looked to her side and went, Ooohh Kim jumped up and kicked her into a garbage can that had been sitting nearby. Shego growled in frustration as she tried to pry herself free, but it was too late, Kim, Ron, and the leaders were long gone.

Drakken looked at the screen in front of him with wide-eyes. Ummohhhkaayynow what? he said. You were gonna tell the UN guys that youd won boss, a henchman replied. Ah Yes! Right! Im sure Shego has everything under control anyway! Drakken said turning a few dials. A large TV monitor in the UN conference hall turned on as Drakkens signal was received. Hello and greetings comrades! Drakken said happily. We know youve kidnapped the G20 members, and if you think one of the men began to say. Yes thats right! Ive captured themand thats not allIve also captured your little teen-heroKIM POSSIBLE! he said beaming. Hello Drakken! Kim said from behind him. Drakkens eyes got wide and he spun around to face her. Kim Possible! But IhowandyouIbut he said. Kim was standing in front of a pile of henchmen that shed beaten up. Well it doesnt matter if youve found me! Youll never be able to stop my laser from going off inwhats that! Drakken yelled as Rofus jumped out of the wall with a tangle of wires. Just the ships controlsAh-Boo-Yah! Ron said as the rat jumped into his hands. The men on the screen behind Drakken began to shout cheers of joy at this. Gaaahh! No no no no no! Drakken said pounding the dashboard, causing it to spark and catch fire. Ah! Hot hot hot! he said waving his hands in the air. Give it up Drakken! Kim said as she got closer to him. Never Kim Possible! Ill be backyoull see! Drakken replied as he backed into a small escape pod. You havent seen the last of me! Drakken said pushing a button to engage the pod. As he did, the vacuum force pushed his face up against the window. Just before shooting off, Drakken caught sight of the screen and all of the men at the UN doubled over with laughter.

Ok where is he? Shego said as she flew over the water in the hover car. Finally, she spotted the sun reflecting off of the side of Drakkens escape pod. Drakken was sitting on top and looked disgusted. Shego sighed and flew down to him. Guess she got to you she said. Geereally!? Drakken said as he got up and got into the car. As they sped off, Drakken crossed his arms in anger. What happened Shego? he asked. Whadda ya mean what happenedthey got out and beat me she said lowering her face into an angry frown. They beat you! Drakken said angrily. Gah! They got past me okay! she shot back. Well I dont see how Shegoeverything was going according to planhow EXACTLY did they manage to get out? he said. Shegos heart was racing. Theythey just did OK! she yelled.

Drakken sighed as the climbed down the ladder of their main lair. Just how we left it! Shego said. Yeajust how we left itno closer to victory than before Drakken said sadly. Oh please! Do you ALWAYS have to get like this after she beats us!? Shego shouted. This times different Shego! We were working together like partners! We were a team! Drakken shot back. Shego rolled her eyes and went into the kitchen to get a drink. Drakken flopped down on the couch and put his hands over his face. I just dont see what went wrong Shego came back in with a glass of iced tea and sat next to him. Shegoamam Ilosing my touch? Drakken asked. PhhI didnt know you ever HAD it she said sarcastically. She was surprised that he didnt shout back at her this time. Oh youre right Shego! Im a loser! A pathetic loser! its all my fault he said. The guilt was starting to build up inside her now. Come on Doctor D! Its not ALL your faultI meanII let her get past me! she said. I know Shegobut you tried your bestandI just dont feel worthy he said. What are you talking about? Shego asked, but Drakken had already gotten up and walked out of the room.

Will you tell me whats wrong!? Shego said from the doorway of the kitchen. Drakken had his hands on the counter and his head sunk low. He took in a deep breath and said, Shegoyoure a great villainyoure evil andyoure awesomebut look at meIm just a bumbling blue idiot! he said. Drakken wiped his nose and breathed heavily as he waited for her reply. Gah! Youreyoure notI mean come oncould an idiot build that whirlpool machine and that death ray!? she said. N-nobut ONLY an IDIOT could fail to conquer the world with them! he yelled. Shego sighed and Drakken continued, Its alrightII know you triedits just He was interrupted as he looked for the right words. No Doctor Dtheressomething I gotta tell youI had Kimmie trapped andshe justgot to me Shego said. Whatd she do!? Drakken said suddenly alert. I dunnoshe started mocking us and how she thought we were acoupleand I just lost it she replied. Drakkens face went from concerned to downright depressed. He let out a big sigh and said, I see Shegowellyou wont have to worry about that anymore

Huh? Shego said. ImIm letting you go Drakken said. YOURE WHAT!?!? Shego yelled. I thought it was all about the failuresbut now I seeIm just an embarrassment he replied. Doctor D if I was looking for INSTANT success I would have left along time ago she said. Well I knooowwwbutthats not what Im talking about anymoreImIm talking about usyoudont really like US do you? he said. Whadda ya mean!? Of course I like us! Drakken IREALLY like us! she said. SEE! You cant even say it can you!? Ive NEVER heard you say it!? You DONT love me do you!? he shot back. Gah! What the hell do three little words mean anyway! she yelled in anger.

Those three little words mean the difference between this THING between us being real or not! he said. Ahhh! I cant take this! she yelled. Drakken turned around and collapsed to his knees against the sink, his whole world spinning out of control. Youyou really DONT care do you!? Youre just gonna walk out now and go somewherevacationthe spaANYWHEREandand when you come backyoull expect EVERYTHING to be back to normal he said trailing off. Shegos face fell soft in confusion at his words. Well guess what!? ILOVE you Shego! Ive always LOVED YOUandand I just dont know why you cantlove me too he said crying into his hands. IdId die for youm-maybe thats itdo I have to go PROVE it? Cuz I just feel like youll never know how much you mean to mewhat do I hafta DO! he said sobbing. He felt her hand on his shoulder and he looked up. Her eyes were as wide as dinner plates and shinning with tears. Please stop she said.
