Kim’s
heart is pounding in her chest, the time she set for her and Ron to
meet at Monique’s cabin is coming close, it’s been 45 minutes since
the two of them started looking for the missing toddler and to her
every minute counts…it’s like a ticking time bomb that can explode
any minute.

softly while walking around the place she decided to take.

there, she could hear it clearly…sobbing, and not just any sobbing,
It is the sobbing of a little girl and crying out ‘mommy’. Kim’s head
raise up and started tracking as to where she can hear the sound.
With her heart beating fast, she run to where she could hear it, she
shouts as she runs KISH!! then she stop and brush away the
bushes she can see, KISH!!, she repeated the process many
times…

– she stop when she found a large woman resting her back on a
trunk of a large tree and in front of her, in between her muddy,
large leg is the toddler she is looking for. Kish is embracing a
stuff toy in her chest and softly crying, calling for her mommy. The
little girl probably heard Kim’s footstep because she raise her head
to see her teacher coming.

she scream as she stand up and run for the older red head

Kish! Kim said opening her arm to the running toddler. Kish did
jump into her arms and cried on her shoulder, Shh, Kish it’s
alright, I am here now. She assure the toddler and starts rubbing
the toddler’s back, Kish’s cry died down and she buries her face in
Kim’s shoulder, Are you hurt? Kim ask the toddler not looking
away from the woman resting by the tree.

hurt, Kish then tilts her head and turn it to look at the woman
as well, She hurt! she said pointing a hand not holding the

helicopter, and Kim understands what the little red head is saying

smile at Kish and shake her head, No, the bird is gone now, and

Kim put
down the toddler to the ground, Kish, I want you to stay right
here, I am going to check on the kind lady and I am going to leave
something so we could get back at her, okay? Kim said to the
toddler who nods her head

Kim then
approach the sleeping woman and poke her in her shoulder, there was
no response, she took a clean hunky and started wiping off the mud in
her face and her eyes widens when she realize who the kind woman who
have hidden Kish from possible abductors, DNAmy…

Standing
up, Kim rush to the toddler who is still standing to where she left
her and carried the girl. She tore her sleeves and tie a piece of it
on the trees on their way back

Lady?
Kish ask

I
will return to get her once we get you back. She assure the
toddler, Kish just nods her head.

What happened? Shego ask Betty

Well
Kish is missing.

Straight
to the point hah? Shego said while shaking her head

“No
use in forestalling the information. Kim and Ron Stoppable is out in
the forest looking for her, I look at the other and there was no sign
of Kish – ” Betty stop what she is about to say when both of
them heard the toddler screaming

towards her mother and embrace the green skinned woman on her thigh,

Shego
was looking at the approaching red headed teacher, she wasn’t paying
much attention to the toddler. Here it is…the moment of truth
arrives Shego told herself, she
was then pull out of her reverie by a tug on her pants, she look down
to see her daughter’s arm raise up signaling for her to carry the
toddler. She lean down and carried the little red head in her arms.
When she straighten herself up, Kim is already there in front of her.

Dr. Director is out of words

I
saw DNAmy on the forest, Kish was with her but it seems she lost
consciousness, I left a trail for us to follow –

Betty said looking at Kim then at Shego. Kim and Shego is just
staring at each other. Kim turn her head and face the one eyed agent

is the one who saved Kish from being taken, It seems there are other

I’ll
keep that in mind, I have to use the radio again to call for back-up
agents so we could scout the whole area. Betty said nodding at Kim

Shego is the one to break the silence

been two years Shego, Kim said then bowing down, I I was
searching the whole time… Kim then started shuffling a foot, I

then she turn her back to her to bring Kish to a free cabin when she
was stop by Kim

bewildered, Aren’t you even going to blame me? Curse me? Get angry
at me? Kim ask, the emotions welling up inside her

is! I should have watch her carefully – She stop when she saw

looking at him, a frown in her face

was nothing said when the man holding the radio suddenly jerk and his
body started to shake. 5 minutes later, the man slump forward, his
body blackens and a smoke is coming out of his clothing, the man is
dead.

This is a warning, go back to base and get your new orders. – the man on the other end said then turn off his part of the radio without waiting for any response from the men inside the helicopter. is sitting on the bed by Kish side, the toddler fell asleep as soon
as she was put on the bed. The green skinned woman is facing Kim who

her life and Kish’ life, she wanted to be a big part of them.

you are asking me if I am shutting you off Kish’ life, I am not that
evil, I just don’t know how to break the news to the kid without
confusing her. Kim smile at Shego’s words, Besides, with what’s
happening right now, I think I cannot keep you away from your
daughter anymore. Shego smile, Just don’t do favorites in

don’t do favorite! Kim retorts laughing lightly

The
hell! she shouts, she is about to pounce the red headed ex-hero
when the door tot heir room opens, the two women looks at the door to

think they are having pillow fight sir. Will Du answer causing the
one eyed woman to look at him scowling, ahem he clear his
throat and look at the women in front of him

Aunt
Betty? Shego said frowning, You should have knock!

I
was, you two weren’t answering the door, I thought one of you is dead
by now so we barge in. Do you mind If I take a sit? She ask Kim in
particular

sitting on the bed beside Kish again and looks at her Aunt Betty who
sits at a small couch inside the room, From the look you are
wearing, something is up, so spill.

Betty
sigh, DNAmy has been inspected by the medical team I summon to
come here, It appears that her heart is not working normally…

She
is fat, what do you expect? Shego said snidely, Kim looks at the
green skinned woman and smile,

This
is the Shego I knew

probably, but from the physical examination they made, DNAmy seemed
to undergo lots of torturing, there were bruises all over her body,
some healing scars, and there were multiple puncture sites, the
medics guess that it is from large gauge needle. There were 3 marks
of a very large needle mark on her chest, left side …

Tortured? Who will do such thing? Kim ask,

drew blood from her and send it to Wade for analysis, all blood
analysis he could get, It’ll take time, we also have to bring DNAmy
to a hospital, we contacted your mother Kim since she is the new
director of Middleton General Hospital, we like a tight security fro

that is because when she regain some semblance of consciousness when
she was brought in the ambulance, she keeps on mumbling Kish and
pandaroo, so I came here to inform you.

and I have to leave and see DNAmy myself to the hospital. Shego
just nods, And you two should talk, whatever we have here, we are
pulling Kim off retirement and she’ll be partner with you!

Kim ask her brows rising, I thought you’ll have me partner with a
new GJ agent for this mission?

I
did said that, and Shego’s the new agent I was saying.

Shego
and Kim just looks at each other
